Did you lose a little steam since the beginning of this year?
If so, well, you’re not alone. I’ve talked about how much my Mastermind helps my productivity and focus, but what are some other that will keep you reach your goals before this year is over?
Here are a few I love.
These two go together like peanut butter and bananas.

Working through the 12-Week Year, you’ll break everything down into manageable steps, determine how you’ll measure your progress and track the steps you take towards meeting your targets. Then, you’ll create a model week with planned focused blocks to help you make a ton of headway.
This matches up nicely with how the BestSelfCo planner is set up, so you can implement the 12-week system easily, do daily morning and evening reviews, weekly reviews, and the planner also serves as a gratitude journal.
Created by the brilliant Natalie MacNeil, these are both specifically targeted to creative women entrepreneurs. The Conquer Kit is especially ideal for setting up a new business or for retooling a business you already have with new offerings. The Conquer Your Year planner that goes with it also works in 3 month sprints, but has you focus on 2 to 3 big picture goals throughout the year as well.
One other bit that I love about Conquer Your Year is that you can track a daily habit, whatever new habit you’re working on, as well as water and exercise. Plus, it also has a section for gratitude journaling.
Zapier. Wave your wand and Zap all the things!
I’m new to Zapier and know I’ve just scratched the surface as far as how much this can help me keep on top of my day-to-day operations. If you haven’t heard of it, Zapier is a business automation app that connects all your other apps (MailChimp, Slack, Google Docs, ToDoIst on and on!) and makes them do amazing, magical things. These new functions are called “Zaps.”
Here’s a few Zaps you can set up:
- Send new Instagram followers directly into a Google Doc
- Add starred messages in Slack directly to your to-do list with ToDoIst
- Create timers for each task in your to-do list
- Create Trello cards for Evernote notes
- Approximately a zillion more things
I’m excited to learn more about Zapier as it seems like there is so much productivity boosting, time-saving potential here.
Hope this helps get you feeling that motivated, fresh-start energy again! I’m feeling ready to conquer spring. For more motivation to make your dreams happen this year, follow my Pinterest board, Take Action!
